The tender for sports works grew by 83% in April compared to the same month in 2021

(30-5-2022) The tender for sports works in Spain grew by 83% last March, compared to the same month of 2021. Projects for the construction and renovation of sports facilities worth 83.8 million euros were contracted euros.

The public tender for the construction of sports equipment continues its path of recovery in Spain. At the end of last April, there was an increase of 83.2% in relation to the same period in 2021, according to data from the Association of Construction Companies and Infrastructure Concessionaires (Seopan).

April closed with 83.87 million euros registered, which come together at 109.82 in January, 83.89 in February and 98.93 in March. In total, these first four months of the year have already accumulated 354.13 million, 93.5% more than a year ago (183). Sports public works bidding represents 4.3% of total building equipment.

Of the total investment in sports works throughout these first four months of the year, 235.71 million corresponded to new works (110.1% more than in 2021) and 118.42 million, to rehabilitation and maintenance (93 .5% more).
