The first wooden tower for telecommunications between innovation and sustainability


Installed by Inwit, it replaces the previous one in steel with a view to reducing the environmental impact and harmonious integration into the landscape.

A new telecommunication tower built completely in laminated wood, sustainable and circular: a few days ago it has been standing in Brugherio (Mb) replacing the previous steel pole, which will be dismantled and brought to recovery. Installed by Inwitthe tower is there prima of this kind in Italy and is 40 meters high with 4 balconies to position antennas and radio links of the hosted managers.

A wooden tower for telecommunications, Inwit’s sustainable choice

The intervention, in line with the objectives of the Sustainability Plan 2021-2023, allows the redevelopment of the adjacent territory of the Park of the Cave as an ecological corridor and the better environmental and landscape integration possible infrastructure.
