(20-5-2022). 50 years have passed since Rossignol made his first skis. Since then, the brand has gone from producing 515 pairs of skis with 120 people on staff to the current 3,700 pairs per day and 400 workers.
On May 9, 1972, the first pair of skis (some Rossignol Cobra) left the new Rossignol factory located in the town of Artés, near Barcelona. If in 1972 the daily production was 515 pairs of skis with a workforce of 120 people, 50 years later, there are 3,700 pairs of skis leaving the production lines every day, with a human team of 400 people, reports Regio7.
In these 50 years, 20 million pairs of skis have been produced at the Artés factory.
