(8-7-2022). The nature and multi-adventure park Reserva Park, in Mallorca, has just inaugurated its 3 mountain pools. Linked by a wooden walkway from the farm itself, these 3 pools welcome the visitor to cool off with the cold water from the ratxo.
The nature and multi-adventure park Reserva Park is an alternative to discover the other Majorca in the Sierra de Tramuntana. An enclave declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which can also be visited in summer.
It is a paradise with views of the Mediterranean (from the top of the Galatzó), where Reserva Park is located, the fun and sustainable nature and multi-adventure park of the Sierra de Tramuntana. In addition to walking the path that crosses your soul at the foot of Galatzó, which at 1,027 meters is one of the highest mountains in Mallorca, you can discover the native flora and fauna of the island.
The complex has just inaugurated its 3 new mountain pools or mountain pools. United by a wooden walkway from the farm itself, and built with dry stone, following the model of the traditional ‘marges’ that divide the terraces of the mountains since Muslim times, these 3 pools welcome the visitor to cool off with the water cold coming from the ratxo, the channel that acts as an umbilical cord and transports life from the bowels of the mountains to the entire valley.
Since 30 years ago
In 2019, shortly before the start of the pandemic, LJs Group acquired the Arratxa estate, which included the Eco Luxury Retreat LJs Ratxó and Reserva Park, with the aim of creating a leisure and accommodation proposal that stood out for its sustainability project, and that would further enhance the beauty of one of the most incredible areas of Mallorca: the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the case of Reserva Park, created 30 years ago, it has an area of 104.7 hectares, and stands out for its breadth and authenticity.
In this new stage, the nature and multi-adventure park, which has the vocation of becoming the most sustainable and fun park in the Sierra de Tramuntana, has three main objectives: to preserve its privileged environment; make it known to children and adults; and collaborate with public institutions (mainly the COFIB) being a refuge for more than 175 recovered animals (among which are two brown bears, an emu -Australian ostrich-, peacocks, sheep, mouflons, donkeys and numerous birds of prey, among others ) who, due to their physical condition, cannot live in freedom or pose a danger.
