How to Add a Table in PowerPoint
We start by starting PowerPoint and we go to the “Insert” tab, we will click on the “Table” icon in the tables section. A new menu is displayed where we will have to select one or more small boxes, which will represent the columns and rows; We will also choose how many filters and columns we want in the table.
It is also possible to choose the “Insert table” option. A small dialog box will open where we will have to enter the number of columns and rows that we want, when we finish, we will click on “OK”.
How to Draw a Table in PowerPoint
We also have the Draw Table function that will allow us to draw our own table by drawing rows and columns. For this we are going to go to the “Insert” tab and click on “Table”.
A new menu is displayed where we will have to choose “Draw table”. Next, we’re just going to draw the cell on the slide and repeat the steps to create a table.
Insert a table using Excel spreadsheet
In the Insert tab we will click on the Table button and a new menu is displayed, we will choose Excel Spreadsheet.
A new window will open displaying a small slide spreadsheet. We will enter the data in the spreadsheet of this window; To return to the original PowerPoint window, we’ll click on the slide in the navigation pane.
We can use the points on the edges of the table to adjust its size. In case we want to edit the spreadsheet, we will do it by double clicking on the cell in question.
Customize a table in PowerPoint
Once we manage to add or draw a table in PowerPoint, we will have the Design tab available in the menu bar; It is feasible to use the different tools that it offers us to customize it: insert rows and columns, merge, view grid lines, change sizes, organize, align, etc.
