(21-7-2022). LG and SM Entertainment have partnered to create the home fitness solutions company, Fitness Candy. Ésya will offer content lasting between 10 to 40 minutes and exercises from, among others, Core, strength training, HIIT, dance, meditation and stretching.
South Korean electronics multinational LG Electronics and South Korean entertainment multinational SM Entertainment have partnered to create Fitness Candy, a home fitness solutions company. The participation in Fitness Candy is 51% from LG and 49% from SM.
The official launch took place in Seoul, and was attended by both partners where they announced that, by September of this year, they plan to launch a new subscription application. It will be a comprehensive lifestyle platform that will offer FUN (First, Unique and New) experiences.
The Fitness Candy app will feature interactive services and celebrity workouts. In addition, the app will have personalized services, data through cameras, exercise equipment and will be available for smartphones, smart TVs, and different operating systems.
Additionally, the company plans to produce a variety of new devices that can be linked to its app. Like, for example, a device that tracks users’ movements with LG’s AI camera and IoT platform. Also, with LG’s innovative technologies such as big data and screens, they will be able to produce indoor bikes, muscle strengthening devices and smart treadmills.
Fitness Candy will offer content that will be updated every week and will last between 10 to 40 minutes. Among them, Core exercises, strength training, HIIT, dance, meditation and stretching. In addition, they will generate more content, such as programs, documentaries and sports, but also related to rehabilitation, healthy eating and stress.
