Santiago de Chile.– The National Electrical Coordinator reported that, having completed the selection process, engineer Erick Zbinden Araya will assume the position of Network Planning and Development Manager, reporting to the Executive Directorate.
Zbinden has an extensive professional career, highlighting his beginnings as a Primary Equipment Specialist at CAM Enersis Group and a Specialist Studies and Systems Engineer at INGENDESA. He then joined the Electrical Systems Department of the CDEC of the Norte Grande Interconnected System, assuming the Head of the Unit and then the Department of System Integrity, to later be appointed as Assistant Manager of Open Access and Connections in the Coordinator.
He studied Electrical Civil Engineering, mention power systems at the University of Santiago de Chile. He has a Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Federico Santa María and a Diploma in Sustainable Energy from the Universidad Católica de Chile. Lastly, she has a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering also from the Catholic University of Chile.
