BeOne closed 2021 with a turnover of 19.2 million euros

(7-9-2022) BeOne increases its sales by 9.7% in 2021, to 19.2 million euros, but it does not avoid repeating the losses. The Galician manager of sports centers closed the last year with red numbers of 4.1 million and aims to recover profits in 2022.

BeOne continues to get closer to the desired normality, but still feels the effects of the pandemic. The Galician manager of sports centers increased its turnover last year by 9.6%, to 19.2 million, according to its economic report. The figure improves the 17.5 registered in 2020, but is still far (9.4 million, 32% below) from the 28.6 that entered in 2019.

The chain is optimistic about this 2022, in which they hope to be able to approach or even exceed the level of income prior to the pandemic from the second half of the year. In other words, if they achieve a good campaign in September and October, they could approach 28 million euros.

BeOne did not avoid closing 2021 with losses, although these were 4.1 million, 13% below those registered in 2020. Last January, the brand received a loan of 24.5 million euros from Cofides, a figure that will allocate in the operating centers and in the next openings of the company. This contribution will help amortize the debt that matures this year, of 6 million euros. In total, the company’s debt amounts to 27 million euros.

The chain has also claimed 4.4 million euros from the public administrations administratively and judicially for the closures and restrictions decreed throughout the pandemic. To date they have only received 762,000 euros in extraordinary public aid.

BeOne currently manages 36 sports centers in Spain: Galicia (19); C. Madrid (7); Cantabria (4); Andalusia, C. Valenciana (2); Castilla y León and the Basque Country (1).
