Anytime Fitness operates with 33 gyms in Spain, of which 4 are corporate and the rest are franchises.

The objective is to give a new sign of its interest in continuing to grow in the national market, and to record how it has reached more than 30 countries in the world and has more than five million members who train in its nearly 5,000 clubs. .

The Anytime Fitness gym chain has decided to attend Expofranquicia for the first time in its history, the largest franchise fair in Spain, whose next edition will be held on May 5, 6 and 7 in Madrid, specifically at the Ifema Fairgrounds .

Tim Devereaux will be at Expofranquicia (in the 26th edition of the fair), at the stand that the brand has reserved at the fairgrounds -6B07 of Hall 6 of Ifema- together with a large part of his Spanish team, including its director of Operations in the Iberian market, Enrique Iranzo; its director of Expansion, Alexis Sekulits; its Fitness director, Alberto Ramos; its director of Marketing and Communication, Natalia López-Maroto; and its editorial director, Gema Boiza.

All of them will bring Expofranquicia visitors closer to the chain’s modus operandi, based on the Coaching Model, designed and directed so that each member can train with a plan that fits their objectives, availability and physical conditions.

Expansion plans for Spain

With 33 operating clubs in the national market -four are corporate and the rest are franchisees- Anytime Fitness has decided to add ten new gyms of its brand to its Spanish network in 2022. The first of them already opened its doors in March in the city of Santander, thus becoming the first of the brand in Cantabria. The next to open will be those currently under construction in the Barcelona municipalities of Sant Adrià del Besos and Santa Susanna, as well as on the island of Mallorca.

Novelties of Expofranquicia in its 26th edition

In addition to the exhibitor area where Anytime Fitness will have its stand, Expofranquicia will have in this edition a space for training and learning about the activities of The Franchise School, where it will have the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Franchisors (AEF ). On this occasion, this school will dedicate some sessions to training and advice content aimed at franchisees and people interested in starting out in this commercial system.

In addition, Expofranquicia will have a franchise catwalk, in whose forum all those exhibitors who want to give greater visibility to their franchise models will have a place. For the first time, the fair will also have a free legal advice area for all those exhibitors/visitors who require this service. Advice that will be provided by law firms belonging to the Committee of Legal Experts of the AEF.
