(1-7-2022). Real Madrid’s 2022/23 away shirt is revealed with a printed design in the club’s traditional purple colorway that captures the electricity of arrival at the stadium. The kit features Heat RDY technology to keep players cool and dry.

The Adidas brand reveals the Real Madrid away jersey for the 2022/23 season, featuring a design that captures the intensity of the team’s pre-match moments.

Inspired by the collective feeling that players and fans share during their arrival at the stadium – the tension, the busy streets, the excitement – the jersey conveys this electric atmosphere with a graphic design, which takes inspiration from the iconic adidas kits from the 90s.

The jersey reverts to its traditional purple colourway, so iconic to fans, updated for the modern era with a new hue and subtle styling nuances. The club crest is monochrome, while the crew neck offers a casual, comfortable fit and feel that can be worn anywhere, from the stadium to the club or even to a concert.

Iñigo Turner, Adidas design director, states that “many times in Madrid, victory has been favored by the incredible atmosphere of the local fans. For this shirt we wanted to materialize that spirit between the players and the fans in their second kit, so that they can take a memory of this intangible feeling wherever they go and whoever they face.

The new jersey is made from 100% recycled materials and features the latest in adidas temperature regulation innovation, Heat RDY – Keep Cool. It’s designed to keep players cool, dry and safe during play by optimizing sweat distribution and maximizing airflow.

The replica jersey offers similar benefits thanks to the inclusion of Aeroready – Keep DRY technology, which keeps fans comfortable and ready while also wicking sweat away from the body for a dry feel.

The players will debut it in the match against Juventus to be held on July 30 in Los Angeles.
